Very good basic bbq sandwich. Got the pate with fries and a drink. Left feeling full. Very clean looking place for being in business 55 years. They also have burgers and catfish and bbq bologna. They do a lot of take out, but they have seating for about 8 people. I’ll be back

We were traveling back to Chattanooga from the Grand Canyon and wanted some good BBQ and saw the reviews for Mr. William's place and decided to check it out. Counter service was outstandingly helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious! We had the pulled pork sandwiches, sausage dogs, and fries. I ate mine with coleslaw and hubby without. Fries are your basic crinkle cut, coked perfectly. Both the sandwiches and sausages were soooo good! Sauce also excellent, we prefer the hot in hindsight though. Portions good and price appropriate. The appearance of the food (when you take a pic) wins no beauty pageants, but the taste is all that matters here! Great local BBQ find! Be it known: 1. This is a CASH ONLY business! 2. Masks are required inside. 3. Take out only (no indoor seating other than two benches to wait for food)

Best BBQ sandwich I have ever had. Delicious! Small unassuming place with friendly service. Cool history. A hidden gem.

Williams barbecue is just what you would expect and more. nothing fancy. No seating. Simple food. cash only. But the food is great. I think the coleslaw is the best I’ve had in my life. I also greatly appreciate the values that are on display: mr. Williams open the shop in 1962. He was there the day I was still in the back working. hard work pays off.

Food is amazing!! Granny in the kitchen going crazy!!

When we walked in I could tell by the amazing aroma that it was going to be good and it was! Had the chopped BBQ sammich and the coleslaw on it was AMAZING Just the right amount of zing. The beans were also just perfect with bits of meat in them. To top it all off they had 20 oz Faygo and who doesn't like that with your BBQ?!

This food was DELICIOUS! I’m coming all the way from Chicago too. The beans were sweet and good and the chopped meat was tinder with the slaw on top. Highly recommend the BBQ sandwich, baked beans and smoked sausage with the slaw as they say it down here lol.
